Popular reggae artist I-Octane has been admitted to the hospital after falling ill recently.
According to reports, I-Octane had an asthma attack recently. He was taken to a hospital in Kingston where he is now under the care of his physician.
I-Octane, born Byionme Muir is said to be recuperating but has been advised by his doctor to rest until further reassessment.
The artist will be unable to fulfill some of the commitments he had previously scheduled.
He is expected to make a complete recovery and is looking forward to performing for his fans.
I-Octane’s last performance was at Reggae Sumfest, held in Montego Bay recently.
His debut album Crying to the Nation, released earlier this year.
